Gagosian Gallery

Two days before the close of the exhibition, the client Gagosian Gallery decided that still capture shots alone were not achieving the results needed to sell this epic work. So TPI's video team came in and using platform scissor-lifts, hand-held cameras and dollies captured all angles and aspects of this complex installation: surface, scale, weight, and its labyrinth-like composition. The beautifully lyrical finished film was set to the music of Richard Serra's favorite musician Philip Glass and captured both the serendipity of the visitors' experiences and the power and poetry of Serra's extraordinary work and resulted in the institutional sale of the installation.
