Farzad Owrang  After Tom, Farzad is Tom Powel Imaging’s Senior Photographer and has been with TPI since 1996.  Farzad is also a practicing photographer in his own right whose work has appeared in Art Forum, Art in America and Vogue, among other prominent publications. Farzad graduated with a BFA in photography from the California College of Arts where he also minored in film. Farzad is originally from the Washington, D.C. area and his interests range from documentary film to playing bass guitar.

 

Lisa Mordhorst  is the Studio Manager/Operations Director for Tom Powel Imaging and is concurrently a practicing artist with a focus in landscape photography.  She exhibits her work regularly and can be found in the Houston Museum of Fine Arts photography collection. Prior to joining TPI, Lisa worked for twelve years in management and research roles for the sculptor Mark di Suvero, conducting catalogue raisonné research as well as managing his image library, archives and public relations.  Lisa holds a BFA in photography from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, D.C. and hopes to cultivate a very successful vegetable garden this summer.

 

Stephen Clute  is the Image Retouching/Color Management Specialist and HD 360 Panorama Specialist  at Tom Powel Imaging.  After receiving his BFA in visual media from Rochester Institute of Technology, Steve moved to New York and soon after joined TPI to pursue his passion for photography. His retouching and composite photography skills provide our client's with the  broad range of digital imaging expertise they need.  In his spare time, Steve is a practicing photographer and recent convert to the indoor rock climbing sport of bouldering.

 

Nathan Maxwell Cann is the High Definition Audio/Video Specialist at Tom Powel Imaging.  Nathan is a New York based artist with Bachelors degrees in religious studies, cinema, and photography. His interest in art and culture has taken him around the country, from volunteer shepherding for Navajo families in Black Mesa, Arizona; to working for a non-profit, avant-garde cinema house in Portland, Oregon. Nathan has software expertise in everything from Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Compressor, Adobe Media Encoder and DVD Studio Pro to Mpeg Streamclip, Aunsoft Encoder, Handbrake, Pluraleyes, and Adobe After Effects. When not at Tom Powel Imaging, he can be found teaching experimental cinema at 3rd Ward, a member-based design center for creative professionals in Brooklyn, NY.  


Elizabeth Streitz  is TPI’s Consulting Director of Marketing.  Liz brings more than two decades of strategic marketing, sales, and high net worth sector expertise to TPI.  After graduating from Williams College with a BA in political science, she started her career  at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities (DLJ) working in institutional trading, sales and marketing capacities. There, she also helped launch the first mutual fund complex to be sold through banks, to be managed by DLJ’s Alliance Capital Mgmt division.  Liz moved on to do coursework in film studies and at Columbia University’s School of International Affairs before starting her own firm as a marketing consultant specializing in advising Blue Chip financial services firms and a wide range of other affluent industry clients.
